Thirkan Lalit Kkala Kendraa

Thirkan Lalit Kkala Kendraa is the brain child of Rachita Rathaur Gambheer and supported by her spouse Shri Sachin Gambheer. Rachita is an M. A. Gold Medalist in Classical Kathak and a topper of Bhatkhande University.

The sense of Dance and Music was inculcated in her by her father a renowned artist and a famous ghazal gayak in Shimla during those times. Since her childhood, Rachita was fascinated by the sound of bells and started learning Kathak dance classes for kids under Guru Ila Pandey at a very tender age.

She first performed at the Gaiety Theatre Shimla stage at the age of 6 years. She also holds a visharad in vocal music from Bhatkhande University. A zonal and State kathak winner she was also a regular choreographer at the Shimla Doordarshan.
